PARENT/TOT PROGRAM
|
The goal of the Parent/Tot program is to provide opportunities for each child to explore and experience
new and familiar activities which are designed to develop and enhance their physical and cognitive skills.
Each child will be able to make choices and exercise their developing independence in a safe environment with
their loved one near by for support and encouragement.
The Parent/Tot class will also provide an opportunity for your little one to interact with peers. The children will get a chance to work on those developing social skills and parents will have a time to connect with other adults going through this wonderful and sometimes trying stage of life.
Ultimately, the Parent/Tot room will be a place to come and have fun. Together we will explore and discover
while getting to know a terrific group of new friends.

School Attire Please dress your child in comfortable clothing that allows for movement and some degree of messy activity. We do use paint and while it is washable, there are occasions when staining does occur. “Play clothes” are perfectly acceptable. We encourage parents to engage in the activities with their child so don’t forget to dress comfortably yourself. Sick Child – Absences If either you or your child isn’t feeling well, please do not come to class. Our school guidelines are that students must be fever free for 48-hours before attending class. In general, if your child is run down, has a cold and runny nose, etc. it is best to stay home. If you are going to miss a class due to illness or other reasons, please contact our room parent.
